North of England Championships

Ady Lee is now accepting entries for the North of England Championships. Held in Durham, the competition will take place on the weekend of February 25/26th. Winchester Fives National Championships

David Barnes is now accepting entries for the Winchester Fives National Championships. Held at Sedbergh, the competition – for the Barnes Bridge Trophy – will take place on Sunday March 11th. Entries must be received by the organiser by Sunday March 4th, with entry costing £20 per pair. Lunch will be provided by the school on the day for a modest extra cost. South East Regional Schools Tournament

The inaugural South-East Schools’ Championships took place at Tonbridge School. On a very cold day, 29 players from Christ’s Hospital, Eastbourne, Tonbridge and Whitgift played both a singles and doubles tournament on a variety of Rugby and Winchester courts. A friendly but competitive spirit marked the day and there were some great games. In the singles pools in the morning none was closer than the Colts pool B where no fewer than four out of the six games went to 11-10.

Ladies' Winchester Fives Championships

To be held at Sedbergh, Cumbria, on 10th March 2012

Organiser Denise Hall-Wilton is now accepting entries for the Ladies' Winchester Fives Championships, which will be held at Sedbergh School on March 10th - the day before the Men's tournament. Both singles and doubles championships will be played, and all standards are welcome, with the organiser saying it may be possible to find partners for those without.
