Phil Lyndon reports:

Aldenham President
Members at Aldenham Fives Club were delighted to see Martin Lindsay accept the role of club President last night (3 February 2012).

The post comes to Martin following the death of John Rimer, the club’s President for many years.

To mark the occasion, Martin was awarded a gavel and inscribed block at the club’s annual dinner in a St Albans restaurant. He previously held the role of club secretary.

Current secretary, Phillip Lyndon said: “We could think of no one better to take on the role of President. Martin has served the club for longer than anyone can remember and deserves this recognition not just from Aldenham Fives Club but from the game in general.”
