The 2011/12 Alan Barber Cup tournament is beginning to take shape with the Cholmeleians early casulaties, unable to raise a side to take on the Etonians. Meanwhile the much anticipated tie of the round between last year's semi-finalists from Lancing and the up and coming Millhillians didn't disappoint. Home advantage and the absence of Lancing star Doug Foster proved crucial as the Millhillians won 2-1, with Vishal Bhimjiyani and Joe Coakley winning the crucial first pair rubber in fine style against George Campbell and Mylo Scurr.
