EFA League: Olavians 2 take top spot
The Division 1 title has been won by the Old Olavians 2, who have pipped Old Olavians 1 to the top spot by one point. For the first time ever, the two Olavian teams have finished in the top two places in Division 1, a phenomenal achievement and a tribute to the strength in depth of the club and to the work of Olavian supremo Howard Wiseman. The win also tops off an annus mirabilis for Olavians 2 skipper Seb Cooley, who can add the league title to the Barber Cup, Northern Tournament, Kinnaird, Turnbull, Old Boy/Schoolboy and Graves Cup, all of which he has won in the course of 2010/11. The Harrovians finished well to end on 20 points, just 3 and 4 points behind the two Olavians side, with the Westminsters taking a strong fourth and the Salopians and Cholmeleians finishing in the bottom two places having both struggled at times this season.
