postheadericon EFA League: More Millhillian magic

The Old Millhillians continued their recent fine form in Division 2 this week as they recorded yet another 3-0 win, this time over the Old Ipswichians at Highgate, to move closer towards a seemingly inevitable March showdown for the Division 2 title against main rivals North Oxford. The OIs put out their strongest looking line-up of the season with both Fletcher brothers, Josh Rose and Peter Boughton all present and correct with suppport from Tim Wyndham and the evergreen Mike Fenn. Tim Fletcher and Josh Rose pushed hard at first pair against Vishal Bhimjiyani and Joe Coakley and won the third game 15-12 after losing the first two before injury intervened, unfortunately preventing the completion of a potential classic. The OMs strength in depth was then shown by the performances of Sunil Tailor and Jitesh Patel at second pair and James Hutcheson and senior pro Chris Vincent at third, who made short work of Boughton and Wyndham and Tom Fletcher and Fenn respectively to move within three points of league leaders North Oxford with a game in hand.
