postheadericon EFA League: Millhillians march on

The Old Millhillians confirmed their status as serious Division 2 title contenders at Westminster last night with a confident 3-0 win over fellow high flyers the Old Stoics to move back into second place in the table, with 11 points out of a possible 12. Even with the likes of Justin Lefort, Oli Sander and Joe Coakley unavailable, the Mill Hill side showed they have the strength in depth to give anyone a game. Vishal Bhimjiyani and Jitesh Patel combined well at first pair to see off the challenge of Ed Hewens and Jurgen Hutter, despite an improved showing in the third game from the Stoics pair, which they only lost 14-13. At second pair, the Millhillian management duo of Chris Vincent and James Hutcheson had too much firepower for Karl Wagner and Rob Cooper and the whitewash was completed at third pair by Jamie Adler and James Mason, who defeated Simon Warren-Thomas and Will Skjott in straight games.
